Coming off of prisoner and goblet of fire， I found book 5 difficult to get into。 A slow start but the last 100 pages answered a lot of questions in a fascinating way but also totally ripped my heart out。

I enjoyed this book for the most part。 I do think the book was slightly long for my tastes。 However the differences between the book and movie were enjoyable。 The book covered many loopholes the movie had。 The description and explanation of Kreacher allows for the reader to understand more。 The book allows for more explanation of the order of the phoenix。 With more interactions with Black。

Harry Potter， the boy who lived again and again。Re read this book again。 And each time it beings as much comfort and enjoyment as the very first time。This is the book in which Rowling knew her readers were getting older and grew the story with us。 Umbridge is such a good villain who I just love to hate。 Pure brilliance。

Was debating for ages whether this deserved 4 or 5 stars。 I think the book is overlong on occasion and suffers from some awkward pacing， but on the other hand it also has the greatest depth so far in addition to strong character development and some really beautiful scenes and descriptions。 Even though it can feel a bit filler-y at times， it feels like this is an imperfect gem and with some editing would honestly be the best book up to this point - so earns the 5
